Operating since 2020, L4 Laser Engraving and Metal Art is owned and operated by Air Force Veterans and husband and wife team Steve & Becca Ludlum in Vail, Arizona – just outside of Tucson. We take great pride in what we create – meaningful products such as custom awards, plaques, metal signs, and gifts that are designed specifically for each customer. 

What Makes Us Different

When each order that's placed represents a milestone, accomplishment, recognition, or memory, it's a reminder to us that it's not "just an order."

Awards celebrate years of work. Gifts become keepsakes. Signs represent businesses. Memorial pieces help preserve memories. Because of this, we take time to design every piece that comes out of our shop with intention.

We Design

Our awards and plaques are designed from scratch to not only look impressive but to feel substantial. These won't be tossed into desk drawers–these conversation starters will be proudly displayed, picked up, and talked about. 

We Build

Materials are carefully chosen, cut, cleaned, sanded, and finished. 

We Listen

Details matter, and we listen. We love hearing the why behind your project, if we can think of ways to further personalize your order while we are working on it, we'll get in touch with our ideas.

Serving Tucson and Beyond

We work with small businesses, large corporations, school districts, our large military community, nonprofit organizations, event and wedding planners, and local sports teams. There is no order too large or too small. 

Although we're based near Tucson, we proudly ship nationwide.

Life Outside the Shop

When we're not working on orders, maintaining machines, and brainstorming at our kitchen table, we are passionate about spending time with our family and friends. We love to hike, paddleboard, and support the local business community, particularly restaurants and breweries. We are equally as passionate about supporting local when we travel, too.
